Sustainable Food Center (SFC) is a community-based, nonprofit organization cultivating a healthy community by strengthening the local food system and improving access to affordable, nutritious food. From seed to table, SFC creates opportunities for individuals to make healthy food choices and to participate in a vibrant local food system.

Job Openings

Spend the morning outside eating delicious food, engaging in conversation with your neighbors, and helping farmers and ranchers make a living. It is also an immense responsibility: without the farmers market, dozens of ranchers, farmers and local businesses would go under, and tens of thousands of our neighbors would lose the place where they get food and build community. Being an exceptional crewmember requires being equal parts salesman, firefighter, powerlifter, and cheerleader. Eight-hour Market Associate Backups are expected to assist with midmarket task execution in addition to the setup and breakdown of market.

Hours: Part Time, 16 - 32 hours per month, Saturdays 7am-3pm, Rain or Shine
