Sustainable Food Center (SFC) is a community-based, nonprofit organization that cultivates a healthy community by strengthening the local food system and improving access to affordable, nutritious food. From seed to table, SFC creates opportunities for individuals to make healthy food choices and to participate in a vibrant local food system.

Job Openings:

SFC is seeking an hourly bilingual Food Access Associate to work on-site at SFC Farmers’ Markets on Food Access programming, including the Double Dollar Incentive Program (DDIP), WIC, SNAP and FMNP programs. Duties will include interacting with clients to conduct and record transactions and providing information to clients about using their benefits at farmers markets.

Availability to work on Saturday mornings from 8:30am – 1:00pm and/or Wednesdays from 2:30pm-7:00pm is required.
