Sustainable Food Center (SFC) is a community-based, nonprofit organization cultivating a healthy community by strengthening the local food system and improving access to affordable, nutritious food. From seed to table, SFC creates opportunities for individuals to make healthy food choices and to participate in a vibrant local food system.

Job Openings:

Sustainable Food Center offers two weeks of summer camp, for campers ages 5-9 and 10-15, summer field trip experiences to established summer camp programs for youth in grades K-12.

We are looking for an energetic, experienced intern to support our Grow Local program and to assist in the preparation for and delivery of summer kids’ programming. Internships are unpaid but interns may be able to receive class credit for internship hours.

We are currently hiring set-up and break-down crew for the SFC Farmers' Market Downtown and Sunset Valley locations. Applicants should be able to lift 50 lbs., be comfortable with hard and fast-paced work, have a good sense of humor, be consistent and reliable, and enjoy working alongside other amazing folks. This position requires split-shift hours every Saturday, 7:00AM 9:00AM & 12:45PM 2:15PM.
