Hallie is Sustainable Food Center’s Supply Chain Program Manager, working toward a more sustainable Texas food system by supporting farmers’ wholesale readiness and expanding institutional buying capacity. She is committed to a just and regenerative agricultural system and has served marginalized producers in vulnerable communities across the Southwest. Prior to her time at SFC, she worked on the Navajo Nation where she managed an extension program that targeted small-scale, native farmers.
Born and raised in Austin, Hallie has been working with and for Austin non-profits for more than a decade. Currently, she serves on the board of Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Austin, an organization that empowers young leaders and advances the nonprofit community. Hallie holds a master’s in international agricultural development from the University of California, Davis and a bachelor’s in agribusiness and management from Texas State University. In her downtime, she also hosts and produces the podcast One to Grown On.
