SFC Farmers' Market

SFC Farmers' Markets and COVID-19

Our Downtown and Sunset Valley markets are open on Saturdays from 9am-1pm!

We can only do this if our vendors, shoppers, and staff follow a new set of guidelines for interacting at the market. Please read more here.

If you have additional questions please contact us at farmersmarket@sustainablefoodcenter.org.

Our markets are attended by more than 100 vendors, including local farms and artisans.

SFC Farmers' Markets are a project of Sustainable Food Center. Currently, we host two weekly farmers' markets every Saturday from 9am to 1 pm at Republic Square in Downtown Austin and the Toney Burger Center in Sunset Valley.

SFC Farmers’ Markets sell only verified local, producer-only goods. Farmers may only sell what they grow, and other vendors can only sell products they produce themselves. All food is locally grown and raised, and our vendors do not resell goods purchased from other sources. When you shop at SFC Farmers' Markets, you support the family farms and ranches of Central Texas.

With Double Up Food Bucks, we match up to $30 in SNAP, WIC and FMNP benefits that can be used to purchase fruits and vegetables from local farmers. This DOUBLES the amount of healthy food SNAP and WIC participants can purchase at our farmers' markets.

Visit either of our SFC Farmers' Markets and find:

  • dozens of local fruit and veggie farmers
  • local cheeses, pasture-raised meats, and eggs
  • flowers, herbs, plants, and soaps
  • jams, jellies, salsas, and honey, plus delicious ready-to-eat foods
