Happy Graduation! Looking for a food job?

To all of the graduating students at University of Texas Austin and beyond, we wish you a happy graduation and best wishes on your future plans. We hope you will find a fulfilling next endeavor! For those of you who are interested in a job related to sustainable food systems, we want to encourage you to pursue this amazing field and also offer several useful resources for your job search. We need you! It’s an exciting time to be involved in building stronger food systems in diverse contexts across the U.S. (and even abroad).

Opportunities in the field of food systems are growing, as more communities are interested in growing, sharing, and preparing healthy food. There are more online resources for connecting with others in this area of work and learning about the latest tools, policies, grants, and projects at both the local and national levels. From attending conferences to listening to webinars to joining coalitions and networks, we encourage you to get acquainted with the field as you explore your options. The following resources offer an array of jobs, internships, apprenticeships, and other opportunities. They also provide ideas of types of food-related jobs available, from food businesses to farming to education, and many other ways that you can be a part of the sustainable food movement!
