We offer private cooking classes in either a demonstration or hands-on style. These classes are a great way to bring your group together in a team-building experience while encouraging participants to try new foods and choose healthier options. Recipes featured are from The Happy Kitchen, and feature local, seasonal produce and ethically-raised meats. Participants will experience SFC's mission in action and will learn about how to get involved.
Vegetarian and Gluten-free options available. Private classes are a family-friendly activity and available 7 days a week!
Cooking Demonstration Class
- Class time: 1.5 hours with tastings.
An instructor will prepare one recipe and provide practical cooking tips and nutrition information related to the recipe being made.
Includes taste-sized samples and a printed recipe for participants to take home.
Hands-on Cooking Class
- Class time: 2-3 hours, with a full meal.
- Working together in teams, participants prepare a meal using The Happy Kitchen recipes.
- Instructors will be on hand to instruct and assist as needed.
- Includes meal for participants to eat on site and printed recipes to take home.

Available Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm; after hours, evenings and weekends for an additional fee.

Inside our solar-powered, 4-star rated green energy building you’ll find a fully functional kitchen and open-concept conference room that are perfect for meetings, self-catered events, movie nights, family gatherings and celebrations. Combined, these rooms can accommodate up to 75 people standing, or 50 seated.
