Classes at SFC

With SFC’s new vision, we’re challenging ourselves to adapt to Austin’s rapidly changing local food system to make the biggest impact we can. We’re stepping up where we’re needed and stepping back where we’re not. With this in mind, we no longer offer our own Public Cooking Classes. Instead, we have opened up our space for others to teach cooking classes of their own!

The classes listed below are held in the SFC Kitchen Classroom by instructors who offer their own curriculum and recipes. For more information on any of these classes, please contact the instructors directly.

Plant Based Pierogi Workshop (Polish Dumpling)

Sun, January 26, 2020 | 12pm - 2:30pm

Pierogi are Eastern European dumplings. They are similar to ravioli or gyoza. In this class, we will be focusing on the Polish Pierogi which is made from a flour-based dough and filled flavorful fillings!

You will watch Chef Morgan demonstrate 3 vegan fillings for pierogi, and make your own dough, roll, fill and boil your pierogi. You will then sit down with your fellow classmates and enjoy the meal you created, and leave with recipes and a new skill!
