SFC Farmers’ Market Associate Lead

Hours: Part Time, 20-40 hours per month, Saturdays 7am-3pm, Rain or Shine

Spend the morning outside eating delicious food, engaging in conversation with your neighbors, and helping farmers and ranchers make a living. It is also an immense responsibility: without the farmers market, dozens of ranchers, farmers and local businesses would go under, and tens of thousands of our neighbors would lose the place where they get food and build community. Being an exceptional crewmember requires being equal parts salesman, firefighter, powerlifter, CPA, and cheerleader. Market Associate Leads bear more responsibility than the rest of the crew, with handling the truck, the extra load in and out required by going to the office pre- and post-market, and coordinating and reporting on the day’s at-market matters.
