Supply Chain Program Coordinator
SFC is seeking a Supply Chain Program Coordinator to ensure the successful planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of the matchmaking program.

This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week.
The Supply Chain Program Coordinator ensures the successful planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of the matchmaking program, and plays a critical role in supporting the overall work of the Supply Chain team. The Coordinator serves as a steward between SFC and the Central Texas local food community. The Coordinator will act as a “value chain coordinator,” facilitating greater local food buying in the Central Texas region to support the local food economy and increase the viability and sustainability of regional farms. This person must be able to balance multiple priorities, navigate complex situations, and work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, namely farmers and business leaders. This position works across teams and projects to support the ongoing success of the Supply Chain department and SFC vision. This is an outward facing position that requires occasionally working at the SFC Farmers’ Markets and externally representing SFC at local, state, and national meetings, conferences, and events.
• Coordinate grant funded programs including developing work plans, ensuring grant deliverables are met and tracking implementation and evaluation activities
• Cultivate relationships with producers and identify ways to support their wholesale readiness and financial viability
• Provide market matchmaking between local businesses and local growers, and host convenings to facilitate market matches

You will also bring expertise and demonstrated capacity in:
Three years’ experience in program management/oversight
Experience working in customer relations, food service and/or procurement, direct farm marketing, web-based commerce, or other similar fields
Excellent interpersonal communications skills, engaging personality, and sense of humor
Strong work ethic, organizational skills, a positive attitude, flexibility, and creative entrepreneurial spirit
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency
A positive attitude and the flexibility to operate in an environment with deadlines and changing demands
Experience incorporating the perspectives of multiple communities in the consideration of impacts and outcomes of a decision-making process.
Sustainable Food Center offers an excellent work environment, competitive salaries, full coverage health insurance, 403b matching after first year of employment, generous time off and a flexible schedule. The starting salary for this position is $40,000 - $42,000 with annual opportunities for growth. Starting salary will be influenced by applicants’ qualifications and budget considerations. The position is available starting the first week of January 2022.
