Robin O’Neil was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. His studies led him to the home of the blues and the birthplace of rock and roll where he pursued a B.A. in English – Creative Writing and a minor in Environmental Studies from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. Robin returned to the D.C. area upon graduating from Rhodes in 2011, learning the craft of grant writing and becoming Grant Writer for the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland soon thereafter. In 2014, he packed everything he owned in his 1999 Toyota Solara and moved to Austin in pursuit of warm weather and new adventures. Robin joins the Sustainable Food Center from The Blanton Museum of Art at The University of Texas at Austin. Living in Austin, and working at SFC, fulfills his passion for good food, the environment, and philanthropy. In his spare time, Robin enjoys cooking, discovering new trails on the greenbelt with his dog, and exploring Texas.
