Jess first became interested in a sustainable food career when she joined a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) in NYC. She has never looked back and now brings over twelve years of marketing experience (and CSA recipes) to SFC. Jess holds a BA in Marketing and Management from Georgetown University as well as a Certificate from Farm School NYC, a two-year program that focuses on food justice and urban agriculture. Before joining SFC, Jess lived in NYC for twelve years and served as the Marketing & Events Director for Just Food, a sustainable food non-profit that helps increase access to fresh and affordable food. She is thrilled to be a new member of Austin’s food community and supporting SFC’s mission. When not working, Jess enjoys spending time with her husband, Seth, and daughter, Gray, as well as cooking (and eating!), gardening, traveling, and reading.
